It’s been quite a year, to say the least.

Throughout it our wonderful Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation staff keeps on pivoting, changing and adapting to face the challenges of fundraising in the midst of a global pandemic.

The latest success, the Care For Our Home From Yours campaign raised $125,875 in the month of September.

First online 50/50 raises over $24,000

Supported by hundreds of donors, businesses and sponsors $24,250 was raised with our first-ever online 50/50 draw. The online auction was a great success with fierce bidding on trips, restaurant prizes, golf, skiing and more than 50 other items.

This amazing fundraising month keeps us on track to reach our goal of raising $1.4 million this year. A goal made more critical by the exciting news that in 2020 Hospice Georgian Triangle is opening an additional facility on Hurontario Street in Collingwood, Ontario. The new facility will allow for the expansion of community support services, while allowing us more space to operate in a safe and healthy environment.

Thanks go to our Foundation staff of Kelley Cookson, Lisa Linhares and Laurie Gee, and our Director Janet Fairbridge.
