A Very Special Wish for Helen.

Helen, our wonderful Volunteer Coordinator, recently had her heartfelt wish fulfilled through the Living Wish Program at Hospice Georgian Triangle. Helen’s wish was to have Christmas photos taken with both her family and her hospice family — the volunteers and staff she works so closely with.

The day began on the morning of November 1st, when two professional volunteers helped Helen get ready. One did her hair and the other her nails, making sure she looked and felt her best for this special occasion. Around 40 people gathered at Campbell House for a joyful group photo, celebrating the spirit of friendship and community that Helen has fostered over the years.

Afterward, Helen met her family at Bradford Greenhouse, which generously donated their space to create a magical Christmas photo setting. Professional photographer Jeff White beautifully captured the precious moments shared between Helen and her loved ones.

To complete the day, the family enjoyed a delicious meal together at the Mandarin in Barrie — a perfect ending to a truly meaningful and well-deserved wish for our beloved Volunteer Coordinator, Helen.
