There is no cost to any of Hospice Georgian Triangle programs and services, including Campbell House, our 10- bed Hospice Palliative Care home located at 240 Erie Street in Collingwood, Ontario.
You can be referred by your physician to Hospice Georgian Triangle, but do not need a referral to access service or join any of our community programs.
Referrals can be made by yourself, a family member, a caregiver, or another health care provider.
You do not need a physician referral to access a bed at residence for end-of-life care. Often Home and Community Care support services are involved in admissions but not required.
Campbell House offers a home-like environment. When you come into the house, it feels more like a family home than a stark clinical space. Each suite at Campbell House has a large window facing into the gardens with a private bird feeder, private bathroom, hide-a-bed, reclining chair, refrigerator and television.

Typically, patients come to Campbell House in the final stages of life and stay approximately two weeks.
Palliative patients may access respite stays at Campbell House for up to two weeks, to provide caregiver relief and respite. In this case, patients return home after their short-term care.
Bring soap, body lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, denture care items, electric razor comb/brush, shampoo, deodorant, and any other personal care items that will help with comfort.
You are also welcome to bring a favourite pillow and blanket, cherished pictures, and other personal items that may help make the space more personal and relaxing. Personal pyjamas are also welcome.
Children are welcome to visit. Parents are asked to always oversee the care of their children. There is a quiet room open with a television, books, board games, and activities for guest use.
Pets are welcome but please consult with our care team before bringing your pet in.
