The Community Support Team at Hospice Georgian Triangle is here for you and your family. We offer a safe, confidential and comfortable environment for you to explore and process your grief.

There is no right way to grieve, and by allowing yourself space to honour and experience your grief, it can help support an adjustment and integration of this loss into your life.

Taking care of yourself and accessing the support of family, friends and bereavement services can help you cope with your loss.

We are here to help.

What We Do

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT

We have trained therapists and trained peer support volunteers who can provide grief and bereavement support to anyone who has recently had a loved one die.

GROUP SUPPORT

Throughout the year, we offer regular Grief and Bereavement Groups and peer-led drop-in groups. These sessions provide information about the grief process, connect you with others experiencing loss, and offer a supportive space to share your experience with guidance from trained facilitators.

WORKSHOPS

We also host groups in Art Therapy, Creating and Keeping Legacy and other special workshops throughout the year.
