Podcast Spotlight: Leadership in Palliative Care with Lisa Wright

We’re excited to share that our very own Lisa Wright, SGB Palliative Care Clinical Coach, was featured on a recent podcast episode with Lynda Meeks from NSMHPCN PPSMC. The discussion focused on Leadership in Palliative Care and highlighted Lisa’s important work supporting healthcare teams across Ontario.

Palliative Care Clinical Coaches, like Lisa, provide expert guidance, mentorship, and support to local healthcare teams in a variety of settings, including long-term care homes, retirement homes, and primary care. Their work helps organizations build palliative care competencies, implement best practices, and improve quality of care through education, quality improvement projects, and consultations on complex patient cases. This role is part of a provincial strategy to strengthen palliative care in community settings and is often supported by regional Ontario Health Teams and the Palliative Care Health Services Delivery Framework.
