Hospice Georgian Triangle Seeks Volunteers for the Board of Directors

Join the Hospice Georgian Triangle Board and contribute to the mission: “Excellent palliative care for all.” The Board supports staff and trained volunteers in providing exceptional supportive care in the home, community, and professional end-of-life care offered at Campbell House and through community support programs offered at 186 Hurontario Street in Collingwood.

Volunteer positions are available

Hospice Georgian Triangle is seeking two talented individuals to join its Board of Directors. This wonderful opportunity is available for interested individuals who reside in the communities of Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Clearview Township or The Town of Blue Mountains.

Preferred background

The Hospice board continually looks for individuals who demonstrate a variety of skills, education, and experience as we strive to have a well-balanced board, we currently are seeking:

  • One individual with a background in health care leadership, preferably with clinical and administrative experience, and
  • A second individual with accounting and or finance experience.

As Hospice Georgian Triangle continues to move forward, we look for staff, volunteers and board members that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.

Expectations 

Board members must be able to attend monthly Board meetings as well as participate on two Board committees – approximately 12 hours per month.
