Brand New Website Launched!

brand new website

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website!

In 2019, we set out to redesign the Hospice Georgian Triangle website to better communicate to families in crisis dealing with life-limiting illness.

The website is designed and produced for users who have little understanding of hospice palliative care and Hospice Georgian Triangle.

Five key actions of the new website:

  • Seeking hospice palliative help
  • Seeking palliative home care help
  • Seeking grief and bereavement counselling
  • Looking for support as caregivers
  • Seeking information on how to donate money or time

We assumed a large percentage of users will access the website from mobile devices such as smartphones or iPads.

Finally, we wanted to avoid jargon and build on the existing authority of the Hospice Georgian Triangle through concise, simple and current content.

A team of staff and volunteers worked on this project. Thanks to each and every one of them!

But we could not have achieved this re-launch without the support and hard work of Cameron Clark and his team at Phantom Owl Design. Cam donated the services of his company. For that we are tremendously grateful.

Also, we’d like to thank our staff who contributed to the new redesign — Janet Fairbridge, Trish Rawn, Kelley Cookson, Lisa Linhares, Heather Goodwin, Mike Dwyer and Jennifer Kerr. A special thank you goes to Madison Harcourt.

Also, our volunteers — Rebecca Wall, Kate Durant, Karen Sweet, Pat Alborough, Sandra King Webster and Paul Williams.

Websites are dynamic. In other words, we’re not finished. Over the coming months we will listen to your feedback. We will track the traffic, our progress, and continually evolve the website to better serve our community.

For any questions, suggestions, feedback or comments, please email us.

The Hospice Georgian Triangle website was designed using donated services from Phantom Owl Design.
