Are you a caregiver seeking support and education?

Hospice Georgian Triangle offers a visiting volunteer program. The goal is to provide short-term relief for primary caregivers, allowing them personal time.

All of our Community Support Volunteers undergo hospice palliative care training.

You do not have to walk this journey alone.

There’s help for you

You may request a trained hospice volunteer to visit with your loved one weekly. You can use this time to do whatever it is YOU need to best support you.

Whether it’s simply taking a walk. Or attending appointments or classes, running errands, meeting friends for coffee or simply resting.

This can happen while knowing your loved one is in the company of a caring, compassionate, trained volunteer.

caregiver support groups

Hospice Georgian Triangle offers both personal caregiver support and support groups. The personal caregiver support provides both emotional support as well as education around your caregiving role.

The caregiver support groups provide you an opportunity to meet other caregivers, learn practical skills, self-care techniques and coping strategies.
