I spent my whole working life in the health care field. For 52 years it was never about the work, it was always personal. It was wanting to make a difference in those patients’ lives. That’s why, to continue toward that goal, within 3 weeks of retiring I walked in the door of Hospice to see where I might fit. It turned out to be the kitchen.

I’ve met some of the dearest, kindest people on both sides of the counter. We are indeed a very lucky group to know each other and to work together and I don’t doubt for a minute that we do makes a difference.
